So this is the greatest book in existence besides the Da Venci Code and Angels and Demons.
You all should read it. It's like a mixture between mystery and politics, and other random things. I'm not much for mysteries, but I still loved it. It's about this guy who works for the president in the future. And there's a group of people who are out to kill the president, who they call, "The beast." They claim to be religious, but really they're just a bunch of really creepy people with guns.
And throughout the book it switches plots between the guy whose working for the president (his name's Wess), one of the people in the group whose being manipulated by the leader, the leader of the group that I forgot his name since it's been a while since I read the book, and other people as they fit in to the overall plot. It's a really complex long book, but it is definitely worth reading!
